      The display supports touch interaction through glass (including AG, UV filter, and anti-fog optical bonding) with thicknesses up to 5 mm using PCAP technology. This department is often deployed in a manner that integrates other Demival technical expertise such as electrical fitting and installation and metalworking. These three departments can function individually but more often than not they are grouped together, and, in this way, they sustainably unburden many production companies of a substantial part of the production process. This can start at purchasing and end with the finished component or product. The combination of the three competencies enables Demival to collaborate on innovative projects. The most diverse circuit boards can be assembled in this department. The focus here is on production engineering, work preparation, purchasing and logistics. Companies can rely on this Demival department for tropicalisation or coating, potting, through-hole assembly and SMD assembly (both one-sided and double-sided). Having components mounted on circuit boards by employees in a sheltered workshop is unique in Belgium. This can be done in a perfectly sustainable and high-quality manner, thanks to efficient work preparation, testing, training employees and meticulous control. Functional and flying-probe tests are performed, and 3D automatic optical inspection (AOI) is done. A production philosophy is taken as the departure point to first consider design. If necessary, medium-sized and large production series can be preceded by prototypes and zero series. In certain cases, designs are drawn up together with engineering consultancies. Production processes can be speedily set up or upgraded, thanks to our own buffer stock and high logistical flexibility.
