
Sensorless PMSM: the new standard in efficient motor control
The shift from BLDC to PMSM motors is in full swing. While BLDC has been the standard for years, sensorless Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) now offer clear advantages: higher efficiency, more torque, quieter operation and a more compact design. Eliminating mechanical position sensors also makes the system cheaper, more reliable and easier to integrate. Series 09 In-Cabin Rotary Cursor Controller.
The Series 09 Rotary Cursor Controller and Rotary Pushbutton Modules are ideal for use in special vehicles, trucks and buses. They offer the functions of a rotary knob, a pushbutton and even a digital joystick (in the case of the Rotary Cursor Controller). This makes them perfect for operation and navigation in vehicle displays or user menus. The two additional pushbuttons complete the functionalities and can be customized with individual HALO ring and symbol illumination, depending on the variant. Common applications: - Navigating through display menus or user interfaces - Adjusting parameters and settings The joystick function of the Rotary Cursor Controller is implemented as a three-dimensional tilt function. The tilt function in the X/Y direction is designed with built-in protection against accidental contact and operation, allowing safe use even under challenging conditions, such as with powerful movements. LEMO Single-pair Ethernet The LEMO 1000 Base-T1 connectors are based on transmission standards (IEEE 802.3). Single-pair Ethernet (SPE), is integrated in new generations of vehicles with effective data rate of 1 Gbit/s in each direction. LEMO provides two solutions; 2 and 4 contacts (+ screen) in IP50 and IP68 versions. In addition to supplying the connectors, we can also supply the complete interconnection and cable (connector+cable+assembly).

Smoked visor for EEVE garden robot
EEVE is the world's first autonomous garden robot that works without a perimeter wire and can both mow the grass and monitor the terrain. No messy wires or antennas are needed; this robot uses a special camera to move independently through the garden. Thanks to its artificial intelligence, the garden robot really does all the hard work in the garden. Clem produces the plexiglass visor for this robot, through which the 4K camera monitors the environment. EEVE approached Clem, a specialist in the processing of transparent plastics, who was able to select the right material for this purpose: a grey-tinted moulded plexiglass suitable for vacuum forming with extremely high transparency for the 4K camera and other sensors.
