ESD NX30 Simulator
Generates ESD pulses according to IEC 61000-4-2 and ISO 10605. Electrostatic discharges either from a human body to any other part or between two different objects can cause persistent disturbances or even destruction to sensitive electronics or controls. esd NX30 is an ESD gun to simulate ESD pulses at higher voltages up to 30 kV in both air and contact discharge mode. It therefore satisifiers requirements exceeding the EN/IEC 61000-4-2 test levels and complies to automotive test applications. EtherCAT display
In automation processes often a 'error' message display is used. These display's mostly are big but simple segment display's which can be observed from a larger distance. (they are used in big production halls). Mostly these displays need a separate interface and/or controller to display the messages. We have developed a display which uses the EtherCAT Fieldbus. An Ethernet based Fieldbus which is largely used in the industry. In fact we use the EtherCAT-P version which also includes power over the 4-Wire Ethernet cable. So only a single cable is required to connect the display and to have it controlled by the central processing unit. The display itself is a matrix RGB LED display. Several sizes are possible, the standard configuration is a 400x800mm size display with a 128x256 pixels. With this graphical matrix display one is no more restricted to a 7 or 14 segment LED display.

EtherCAT measurement modules
The new ELM314x economy line of the EtherCAT measurement modules supplements the established ELM3x0x line with a lower cost 1 ksps class. This simplifies the use of the system-integrated precision measurement technology, which taps significant optimisation and efficiency potentials both in production machines and in inline test benches.

Ultra-precise, fast and robust measurement technology modules will become an even more integrated part of PC-based control solutions. The new EtherCAT measurement technology modules can be directly integrated into the modular EtherCAT communication system and combined with the extensive portfolio of more than 500 other EtherCAT Terminals. New metal housings optimise shielding and cooling in measurement technology applications. At the same time, the durable housings provide enhanced flexibility at the interface level, such as for LEMO or BNC plug connectors or for the established Push-In as a quickly customisable standard solution. Measurement accuracy of 100 ppm at 23 °C, precise synchronisation of < 1 μs, and the high sampling rate of up to 50,000 samples per second guarantee high-quality data acquisition.

Explosion proof IoT module for pump systems (predictive maintenance)
E.D.&A. developed a battery/transmitter unit that is applied as a predictive maintenance sensor for pumps (in hazardous areas such as chemical plants or refineries). Via this ATEX certified module incl. housing, the vibrations, the sounds and the temperatures of the pumps are monitored and logged. This makes it possible, for example, to recognise early on that the bearings of the pumps need replacing and to schedule maintenance in time (predictive maintenance). In view of the strict ATEX standards, we had to take account during development of very strict requirements in terms of heat generation (strongly limited currents, inductances, capacities, possible spark formation, etc.), materials used, type of housing, type of batteries, etc. Upon delivery, we also provide a very detailed technical documentation package with the electronics.

FAULHABER BXI: Made for the Next Generation of Robotics
Integrated drive technology for dynamic, human-like movements Into the future of drive technology with new dimensions and features for robotics: The new BXI is the most powerful integrated drive system in the FAULHABER portfolio thus far and was developed to meet new requirements of modern robotic applications. Human-like movements place extremely high demands on precision, force and dynamics–from delicate grip movements to powerful, coordinated joint movements. This is where the FAULHABER BXI steps in. The internal rotor motor of the 9317 BXI G series combines robustness and exceptional compactness and defines new standards for integrated drive systems in robotics. With a maximum torque of up to 20 Nm, it enables dynamic movements, fast reaction times and a highly precise movement control. The motor covers a voltage range of up to 50 V and, thanks to the available interfaces and an installation length of just 34 mm, is easy to integrate in existing system architectures.
