AVT Wiring & Connecting provides electrical connections to customers and also manufactures custom-made electrical wire harnesses. In doing so, we make an essential contribution to our customers and play a role in the energy transition. We work closely and intensively with our customers in a personal and approachable way, which aligns with our family business values. And for that, we need you! What will you do? You’ll start your day with a cup of coffee and review the incoming quote requests. Sometimes they are variations of known wire harnesses, other times new designs. You’ll examine the drawings, think along about production, and improve where possible. Together with your colleagues, you’ll work on challenging recalculations and provide quotes where necessary. When the commercial aspects are settled and the customer has decided to place an order, you’ll create clear work and quality instructions for production. You’ll guide the production process and see your work come to life!
We are looking for an: Assistant Controller
In this position, you work as an Assistant Controller and are jointly responsible for a wide range of financial and administrative tasks. You manage a small team of two employees and deal with, among other things, financial administration, production administration and accounts payable and receivable management. Additionally, you handle payroll administration, prepare management information, and are responsible for VAT returns and CBS submissions. Together with your team, you execute the planning and control cycle and monitor the budget. You also prepare the annual accounts in collaboration with the auditor. The position offers a high degree of independence and room for development, with opportunities for advancement to Financial Controller. You have a higher professional education (HBO) degree, relevant experience, and work accurately and in a structured manner.
