
Hardware Design Engineer
As a Hardware Design Engineer, you contribute to the execution of Research & Development projects, applying your technical expertise to develop new projects or implement improvements to existing ones.
-Hardware design: You design custom electronic control systems, fully tailored to customer specs.
-Component selection: In close collaboration with the Purchasing department, you select the appropriate electronic components.
-Technical handover: You ensure a seamless transfer to our assembly and test departments, supported by a detailed production file.
-Defining test strategies: Together with the Test department, you define an appropriate test strategy for the electronic control units.
-Project responsibility: You are responsible for complete hardware projects as well as specific sub‑projects.
Your profile
-You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics.
-You have a proven passion for electronics and hardware design.
-You are eager to learn and enjoy keeping up with the latest technological developments.
-You are creative, solution‑oriented and work with great attention to detail.
-You are proficient in both Dutch and English.
-Experience with design software (e.g. Altium) is considered an asset.

As a Tactical Electronics Purchaser, you are responsible for the tactical sourcing of electronic components/systems that are essential for our production and projects: -You search for suppliers, request quotations and negotiate prices, quality, packaging, delivery times and other conditions -You are responsible for placing and following up purchase orders to ensure customer commitments are met -You periodically evaluate the cooperation between E.D.&A. and suppliers from a technical and financial perspective -You regularly analyze component costs across different suppliers, taking market developments into account -You align priorities with internal departments (including R&D, Planning and Customer Support) -You are part of the Purchasing team within the Supply Chain dept and report to the Team Lead Purchasing >>> You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics.
