The Qwiek.embrace A fine example where the electronics and assembly in this product, developed by the Dutch company Qwiek, were produced in close collaboration with VPC (Value Procurement Centre). The product was specifically developed to meet a care need to offer more security and closeness. People with dementia often experience restlessness, anxiety, or sadness, especially when familiar faces and environments disappear. In those moments, a sense of closeness and calm makes a big difference. The Qwiek.embrace helps with this and it offers comfort, even when providing closeness as a caregiver is not continuously possible.
