MENTOR - Keypad Components and Accessories
Modern keycaps show their strengths whenever safety concerns are paramount. For instance, when an operator has to simultaneously monitor both the control panel and the resultant operation. The tactile response provided by the keycaps delivers direct feedback of the input. Further advantages of the keycaps is their robustness and sealing that prevents the ingress of dirt and dust. They can also be operated whilst wearing gloves.

MENTOR - Light Guides
Modern light guides are used for the transportation of light signals from a circuit-board-mounted LED via a particular route to a defined light-emitting surface, with minimal loss and blurring effect. They offer the electronics developer cost-effective, space-saving and easy-to-mount solutions with high ESD protection. The MENTOR range of high quality standard light guides for assembly on front panels or circuit boards includes several hundred articles, which can be supplied from stock with low minimum quantities and short delivery times. Thus it is undoubtedly among the largest product ranges of light guides in the world.

EBE - capacitive sensor capaTEC® measures fill level, movements, torque and much more.
Precise Capacitive Sensors with the capaTEC® Platform by EBE The capaTEC® technology was completely developed by EBE and excels by high precision and robustness. Even if standard modules are used, the innovative measuring process allows for highest resolutions in the single-digit femtoFarad range. The dynamic parameterization finds the optimum operating point at any time. It achieves the best possible resolution across a wide range of values. Furthermore, the electronics provides stable results across a wide range of temperature and humidity. The control and analysis of several electrodes ensures a multi-channel measuring process. This diversity allows for a variable field configuration and the dynamic focussing of the measuring capacity on the desired area. capaTEC® measuring systems can also analyze the field spectroscopically. In this way, presences become detectable. Thus, level sensors can compensate moisture films. Apart from the intelligent control and signal evaluation, the design of the measuring electrodes is of prime importance for capacitive sensors. EBE has great experience with the design and optimization of suitable structures. By means of a 3D field simulator, EBE determines the best geometry for the individual application under consideration of the given tolerances. In many cases, the electrodes can directly be integrated on the PCB. This allows for a compact sensor setup. The sensors function contactless, touchless and maintenance-free. The suitable design of the electrodes and the control makes the capacitive sensors based on the capaTEC® technology robust against parasitic capacities. This avoids disturbances which might occur by metal components or touch.

JIANGHAI - Small aluminum electrolytic capacitors
NEW SNAP-IN SERIES CD 29 CS DS 4 000h, 105°C, Ultramini As a result of research and significant further development in the area of pore structures and oxide layers, snap-in capacitors are currently undergoing a revision in favor of smaller designs. Not only are existing series being supplemented with smaller components, but new series are also being launched to accommodate high current-carrying capacities in the smallest dimensions, for example the CD 29CS DS series: This ultra-mini snap-in with a lifetime of 4 000h at 105°C can be implemented as a 400V-820uF capacitor at just under 2,5A in the 30x50 design.

EBE - ESC17 mini-Rotary Encoder for Harsh Environments
One of the main aspects of this extremely compact encoder are its small dimensions. The ESC17 mini comes with a wear-free signal generation via HALL sensor for rotation as well as the switch/push signal. Additionally many specs, such as shaft geometry or the connector on the PCB, can be customized.

EBE - BGE25 Rotary Encoder for High Demands

EBE - HMI Capacitive Touch Sensor Capatec
EBE’s touch sensors are a perfect fit for harsh environments. Thanks to their proprietary compensation technology these touch sensors reliably detect operator input. Even dirt, EMC interference or unintentional contact will not prevent secure operation of these sensors.

PRAX - CUUC Transfomer for Water Cooled Systems
The CUUC approach consists of making the transformer and inductor together in one component using a single core resulting in a compact solution. The coupling factor is adjustable. This means that the magnetization inductance and leakage inductance easily can be adapted to the value needed for the resonant or DAB topologies. By varying the distances of the central and lateral gaps, the coupling factor and magnetization inductance can be adjusted to achieve a desired leakage inductance. Coupling factors between 0,7 and 0,98 can be achieved. Increased gap distance U cores = Lower Magnetization inductance Less gap distance C cores = Lower coupling = Higher leakage

EBE - Capacitive Touch Sensor
Capacitive touch sensors from EBE sensors + motion are the ideal solution for robust and reliable operation despite contamination by dust, water, steam, oils, fats and acids. Even in the most challenging environments, capaTEC® sensor technology enables precise touch detection. Coatings on the user interface have no effect on performance because our sensors take multi-dimensional measurements of touch. With customisation options, our touch sensors offer maximum performance and dynamics for safe control panels. Proven algorithms allow the sensors to adapt to different material thicknesses, from real glass and acrylic to wood and plastic. Capacitive buttons from EBE sensors + motion are implemented on a printed circuit board and powered by a μController. The electrodes can be planar or convex/concave.

EBE - Non-Contact Level Sensor using ToF
EBE also offers standard Time Of Flight (ToF) sensing for various applications, including level measurement for granular and liquid media. With infrared laser technology, distances between 20-400 cm can be measured. The two-dimensional sensors sit directly on the printed circuit board, allowing easy integration into other structures and saving space. Features of EBE ToF sensors Energy-saving version Multi-Object Detection Detection of ambient light Object detection down to 1 cm

EBE - Capacitive Non-Contact Level Monitoring with Inductive Parameter Adjustment
Level measurement on swap tanks is often faced with the challenge of fluctuating gaps. EBE sensors + motion offers an innovative solution to this problem by compensating for manufacturing and assembly tolerances of the plastic parts. Our new sensor technology, specially optimized for plastic interchangeable tank systems, is based on a combination sensor. This capacitive level sensor with electrode structure and μ-controller is additionally equipped with an inductive proximity sensor. This combination allows real-time tracking of parameters as a function of the individual air gap. Features of the combination sensor: Capacitive level sensor for level measurement through the tank wall, tank cavity and frame. Inductive proximity sensor measures the actual distance to the tank surface. Compensates for variations due to individual available air gap. Available as a level switch, limit switch or continuous sensor As part of custom sensor development, individual parameter sets are defined once and stored in the sensor’s flash memory. This elegant solution does not require any calibration by the customer or user and does not generate any additional electronic effort. The shape and surface of the combination sensor can be adapted to the requirements of the individual application or tank. With a sensor surface of just 25 x 30 mm, it can easily overcome material thicknesses and air gaps of seven millimeters or more. The combination sensors are ideal for use in interchangeable tank systems in white goods, in the process industry, in mobile cleaning devices, and in the plumbing and camping sectors.
