About us
ClickTouch specializes in click and touch technology. With over 38 years of experience in membrane keypads and pioneering work in robust touch solutions, ClickTouch offers tailor-made solutions. Our core business remains the design and production of membrane keypads, but we are increasingly focusing on one-stop-shop projects, where we guide our customers from design to end product (and beyond).
We design, produce, and assemble complete HMI solutions, combining durability, competitive prices, and excellent delivery times. By applying various technologies, we can provide secure and versatile solutions, including tactile feedback, haptic sensors, and redundancy. At ClickTouch, customer satisfaction is paramount, supported by professional service before and after delivery.

TwoTouch - Redundant Capacitive Technology
ClickTouch develops revolutionary Two Touch Redundancy Technology for critical situations: ClickTouch, the expert in the field of touchscreens and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), has developed a technology that creates redundancy for capacitive touchscreens. Through this, their touchscreens work more reliably in critical conditions. Today, touchscreens with capacitive detection are the most common and the most commonly used form of touchscreen technology in industrial, medical and many other applications. However, these capacitive touchscreens have 1 important disadvantage: an unintentional activation of the touchscreen may occur because of minimal, unwanted pressure, heavy fluctuations in temperature or close proximity of a conductive object. And for certain critical situations, one will want to avoid the touchscreen generating unintentional actions. Because of that, ClickTouch has developed a new technology that sees a second, resistive screen installed underneath the first, capacitive screen. A touch is registered on each screen separately and verified on both screens combined. In other words, a touch is only registered when it is certain, intentional and has to trigger an action. This Two Touch Redundancy Technology is highly useful for various applications: medical procedures in which a drop of blood must not activate the screen or military and industrial situations in which a slight, unintentional touch can have grave consequences. But also in many other applications such as the transportation industry, safety equipment, the development of payment terminals and situations with greatly fluctuating temperatures, the Two Touch Redundancy Technology provides great benefits.

UniCTouch - Universal Capactive Technology
UniCTouch is short for Universal Capacitive Touch and offers capacitive operation by any type of overlay imaginable: metal, stainless steel, wood, cork, textile, … With this technology, clients are able to design a highly innovative product. The UniCTouch® principle: A capacitive system detects the movement of the overlay as the distance between the two electrodes becomes shorter. This results in an increase in capacity. We can change the actuation force by playing with the mechanical design and software. A strong backing plate behind the UniCTouch layer (can be any kind of material) is recommended. Stylish appearance: Metal and stainless steel are already widely used in your products. We now offer you the option to extend your metal surface to your control interface! You can have different input types: keys, sliders, wheel and touchpad. The design possibilities are endless!

Click Solutions - Membrane keyboards
Our membrane keyboards are based on the patented “ClickTouch” technology: by means of high temperature deformation, we obtain keys with elastic spring zones and a long “travel”. The keyboards are user-friendly, reliable and have an excellent lifespan (up to 6 million impressions). Our technology offers various advantages over conventional membrane switches and those with metal domes. The keys are available in a wide range of designs, in various diameters (up to 35 mm) and different pressing forces. The keyboards including windows can be made interference-free by means of selective or full shielding. SMD LEDs, optical fibers and Electroluminescence can be used excellently as background lighting. In addition to our ClickTouch Dome, we also offer the usual metal domes. In certain applications, for example with high temperatures, this technology can offer advantages.

HMI Solutions
In HMI Solutions, we provide a complete and tailor-made solution for your interface needs. We support you throughout the entire process – from concept to finished product. We assist with design, housing, displays, engineering components, embedded PCs, cabling, tuning, assembly, and packaging. Our solutions are fully customized to meet the customer’s requirements. However, we never supply these elements separately – all our designs are based on our core business: membrane switches and touchscreens. You decide how far you want to go. With our expertise, we ensure that your HMI solution seamlessly fits the desired application and environment. Discover how we can take your product to the next level with our integrated HMI solutions!

Touch solutions - Capacitive and resistive touchscreens
ClickTouch offers two distinct touch technologies: capacitive and resistive touches. If you’re in the market for a durable and functional solution that works under extreme conditions (e.g. with thick glass, water, gloves or strict EMC & ESD requirements), or looking to upgrade your product, we’ve got the cutting-edge technology and expertise you need. Capacitive touch Capacitive Touch Sensing (CTS) or Projected Capacitive Touch (PCAP) utilises the conductive properties of the human body - unlike resistive touch screens, which rely on pressure. This allows users to easily interact with the screen using various touches: self and mutual touch, rotation, zoom, etc. Resistive touch Resistive touches employ two layers that make physical contact with each other when touched. This creates an electrical signal that registers the touch, regardless of the object used (e.g. finger, stylus, palm). The screen is versatile but requires physical pressure to operate, unlike capacitive touch sensing (CTS)

UltraTouch - with hover and force technologie
Hover Technology At ClickTouch, we focus heavily on innovation in Projected Capacitive (PCAP) touch technology, especially regarding reliability and safety. Our hover technology are truly revolutionary. With our hover technology, operators can control the screen without making physical contact. By simply hovering their hands over the display, they can perform specific tasks. This is particularly useful in medical and industrial environments where hygiene and safety are paramount. By eliminating the need for physical contact with the HMI, this technology enhances hygiene. Its ease of use also ensures that every action is intuitive and, therefore, safe. Discover our newest UltraTouch demo featuring Hover Technology, capacitive multitouch, and Force Sensing Technology. With these innovations, we elevate reliability to the next level in critical environments, ensuring redundancy through advanced multitouch capabilities and force sensitivity. ClickTouch Force Sensor Technology Finally, we’d like to introduce our ClickTouch Force Sensor (CFS) technology. This technology is integrated into our redundant keyboards and provides excellent tactile feedback—crucial in environments where operators wear gloves. Additionally, this technology is designed to last up to six times longer than traditional solutions, further reducing the risk of malfunctions and associated costs. The CFS technology also introduces new features, such as pressure sensitivity. This allows users to unlock additional functions by applying more pressure.
