Complex parts and internal channels pose no problem for 3D printing. While there are a few design guidelines that need to be followed to avoid supportation there is a lot possible within these rules. Channels can take whatever form they want and with wall thicknesses as low as 0,5 mm, heat exchange can be optimized greatly.
