Thermoformed ABS components for Orfit radiotherapy treatment tools

Clem produces custom plastic components for the medical sector, including solutions used in cancer treatment.

During radiotherapy, it’s critical that the patient lies in exactly the same position for each session – to ensure the radiation targets only the tumor, while sparing healthy tissue.

To support this, Clem supplies for Orfit Radiation Oncology an adjustable support module that ensures both comfort and precise lower-limb positioning throughout the treatment.

This module consists of multiple parts, produced in-house using a combination of techniques – including thermoforming, CNC milling, and fine assembly – all within the tight tolerances required by the medical field.

Each unit is fully assembled at Clem, complete with position-labeling that allows medical staff to register and replicate the patient’s exact position across sessions.
