Heat pipe integration in your LED and industrial applications

Due to new thermal and engineering capabilities, it is recently possible to realize several successful integrations of heat pipes in new high power LED applications (see picture). Besides the LED-market, this heat pipe technology find also his way in a variety of industrial applications.
Heat pipe principle

Heat pipes offering a high thermal conductivity (>3.000 W/mK and much more), are light weighted and low cost. There are several technologies available, what has to be carefully selected in relation to your application and environment. Via a thermal engineering/ software consultancy, our engineers will guarantee you the best thermal performance as total product/ assembly integration is critical.

We have multiple diameters (even more than diameter 20mm) available, also different materials, multiple liquids (for example with methanol we can go to -30◦C), slim type versions (0.4mm), flexible types, lengths can be up to more than 50cm.
Besides the heat transfer from point A to point B as a heat pipe, we can also realize this high heat transfers in bigger surface areas = vapor chamber.
