Frequently asked questions about Advanced Engineering

25 March 2020

Dear Exhibitor,

As the organisers of Advanced Engineering 2020, we are closely monitoring the exceptional situation with regard to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The health and well-being of our exhibitors, visitors and employees are our highest priority. The Belgian government has not yet indicated any special restrictions for events planned in May 2020, such as Advanced Engineering at Antwerp Expo.

All the printed and promotional materials are ready for the May edition. However, we are aware that the current exceptional circumstances prevent the usual visitor promotion.

Last week we started a phone survey among our exhibitors and partners, suggesting moving this edition of Advanced Engineering 2020 to 24 and 25 June 2020 due to force majeure. However, because of the rapidly-changing circumstances and new measures with regard to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are afraid that these dates no longer offer a suitable alternative either. In consultation with our strategic partners, we have therefore decided to postpone Advanced Engineering 2020 to Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 October 2020. This email officially confirms these new dates. The venue of Antwerp Expo will stay the same.

What is expected from the exhibitors?

No action is required on the part of the exhibitors. Your participation has now been fully transferred to the new dates of Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 October 2020.

We hope that we can all put this difficult period behind us soon and we can start building a healthy future together with you. In the meantime we look forward to welcoming you at a successful Advanced Engineering exhibition on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 October 2020.

Thank you for your understanding. Take good care of yourselves and your loved ones.

With best regards,

Dieter Wilssens

Group Event Director
