Winstar Smart Display Can Series
This new innovation offers an out-of-the-box CanOpen development experience that will lower your development costs and speed up your time-to-market expectations. The CanTFT comes with standard UI objects to get customer projects off the ground quickly. If customers need custom UI objects support, this is possible as well. Winstar offers LCD/TFT solutions that ensure reliable communication over distances up to one hundred feet and they also come equipped with daisy chain topology capabilities. Additionally, Winstar CanTFT provides the option of an IPS TFT display with a wider viewing angle. Winstar can offer almost unlimited combinations to support your user experience requirements. They have to ability to mix-and-match different 8 ~ 12 LCDs with their CanTFT platform. The wide-temperature varieties are designed to support control applications in harsh operating conditions such as automotive, marine, power generation and oil-and-gas.

HV Wooding powder coated busbars
Customers in the electric and hybrid vehicle market tend to specify their requirements in terms of kilovolt rating and insulation performance, not coating material or application method. Existing coating methods were difficult to control, with a high level of component rejections due to the coating specification and application failing to meet requirements. A new coating method needed to be produced, resulting in busbars with a consistent specified performance. The project focused on epoxy powder coatings, applied by fluidised bed or spray processes. Powder coatings are generally safer than heat shrink sleeved insulation for electric vehicle busbars, and offer better thermal and electrical performance which allow for a more compact battery design.

Nijkerk Electronics extends its Power Products portfolio with Solid State Relays from Sensata – Crydom
In addition to the electromechanical contactors and the thermal fuses Nijkerk Electronics has added Solid State Relays (SSR) to its portfolio of Sensata products. A Solid State Relay is an electronic component that switches Power (AC or DC current) to a load circuit and provides electrical isolation between an application’s control circuit and load circuit. It is a competitive technology to Electromechanical Relays (EMRs) and other switching technologies such as Mercury Displacement Relays (MDRs). Solid state switching technology can also be combined with EMR technology to produce a switching device with hybrid technology. Why use Solid State Technology? -Long life -Quiet operation -Minimal electrical noise -Low power consumption -Shock and vibration resistant -Fast switching -Reduced weight and energy cost -Typical applications: -Motion Control -Includes conveyor systems, solar trackers, fans, solenoid, valve control, elevators, lifts, hoists, and exercise equipment. Heating Control Applications include: professional food equipment, plastic molding/extrusion machinery, HVAC&R and soldering equipment. Power Control Includes power supplies, transformers, regulators, inverters, converters, UPS systems, etc. as well as any load that is not specifically for heating, lighting or motion control. Lighting Control These applications are usually broken down into three categories: theatrical, warehouse and commercial. Many of the products used in this segment are custom designed. More information can be found in the brochure. If you want more information or if you have any questions, please contact Nijkerk Electronics!
