The Tektronix TMT4 is the first tool designed specifically for assessing the health of Transmit/Receive (Tx/Rx) lanes in PCIe® generation 3 and 4 designs. It allows for quick assessment of link health in just minutes, rather than days. As an active link partner with the device under test (DUT), the TMT4 can easily control presets and display eye diagrams with associated link training parameters. This provides insights into potential design flaws on a lane-by-lane or preset-by-preset basis, making it a valuable tool for identifying and addressing issues in PCIe designs.
