Laser cladding is a process in which a metal in powder form is transported towards a metal surface by means of a propellant gas. This powder is fused with the base material using a laser. In this way, little heat is introduced into the machine parts, so that the material properties of the different metals are fully preserved.
Laser cladding can be perfectly used for repairing parts or to preventatively treat various surfaces.
