Construction:
The GLT has a 100% copper wound transformer and air-cooled thyristors. This system allows continuous current regulation. An especially developed shunt-circuit measures constantly the welding current and keeps this one stable, avoiding net fluctuations from influencing the quality of the weld. Even moves of the electrode are being compensated. Both models have a stepless hot-start to improve ignition qualities of each type of electrode. The electronic part is kept apart in a dust-free housing.
