The modular remote relay system PLC-INTERFACE Ethernet gateway from Phoenix Contact with flexible channel allocation optimises simple applications with up to 56 I/O channels. High flexibility and intuitive network integration are possible thanks to compatibility with common control software.
The new remote relay system enables flexible channel connection with digital and analogue inputs and outputs as well as temperature and Ex modules. Thanks to their compact design, the modules are particularly suitable for simple applications with small to medium numbers of channels in decentralised junction boxes.
The remote relay system offers the possibility to optimise decentralised applications. Digital and analogue signals are reliably recorded and temperature and analogue values are accurately processed with a 10-bit resolution (value range 0 – 1000).
An innovative network module with a high-performance chipset enables multi-protocol connection, including Profinet class C and S2 redundancy. Integration into the control level is intuitive and time-saving thanks to compatibility with existing control software. Firmware updates ensure continuous expansion of functions and optimum performance.
