This is a position for an engineer or a technician by hart enjoying to work closely with customers and visit them on site. As Field Applications Engineer you will:
Travel to customers and develop new business by providing solutions to improve product manufacturability and reliability
Attend customer design review meetings and provide technical design and product support for customers
Understand the company specific factory capabilities and design solutions for prospective customers
Provide technical guidance or engineering support (incl. Gerber files review)
Be able to read and understand customer drawings and data using available software and ensuring the right opportunities are placed in the right factories
Answer engineering questions from manufacturing such as design tolerances, drawing notes and material selection
Work within the guidelines provided by the ISO system and routines
Drive technical seminars for customers or trade organizations
