As an industrial automation engineer you specify, design and program PLC, HMI and SCADA systems for clients in the mechanical engineering and process industry. You work independently or in a team.
You main focus will be programming installations, machines or parts and you deliver your work complete with control documents. You also take care of the commissioning of control systems on site or at (end) customers. If necessary, you are able to advise on questions related to electrical installations and/or software engineering. In short, a varied and challenging position within a multidisciplinary environment.
Required skills:
– A bachelor / master degree Electromechanics, Mechatronics or similar
– You have experience in project-based work within industrial automation
– Excellent knowledge of and experience with PLC systems such as Siemens S7, Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff TwinCAT 2 and 3 and SCADA software
– Knowledge of the ISA-88 standard is a plus
– You are a team player with a customer-oriented and multidisciplinary attitude
– Fluent in Dutch and English
