Series 09 CANbus keypads. For Piet Brouwer, we integrated these keypads into a custom panel with emergency stop button and illuminated text. Three panels are built into the bridge console on an electrically powered ship next to each other. All operating functions, including dimming and colour adjustment of the lighting, are done via the CANbus.
By outsourcing the engineering of the panel to EAO Benelux, Piet Brouwer’s engineers were less burdened and were able to fully concentrate on the (time-consuming) core issues for this project.
